As per reports, torrential downpours have lashed Nepal since Friday, leaving rivers in spate and many areas in the Himalayan nation inundated. The floods have caused widespread destruction, with several districts affected by the overflowing rivers. The Nepali government has been working tirelessly to rescue those stranded and provide relief to the affected families.

India’s commitment to providing assistance to Nepal in times of need is a testament to the strong bilateral relations between the two countries. The two nations have a long history of cooperation in various fields, including disaster management, and India’s support to Nepal in this difficult time is in line with this tradition.

The international community has been closely watching the situation in Nepal, and PM Modi’s message of condolence and solidarity is expected to provide solace to the people of Nepal.
